There are more things to worry about in Starmancer. But the colonists you create will remember your actions and what happens to them, so you will have to be very careful with what you do unless you want to have them all against you. The process will be long, but managing and monitoring everything will be your responsibility. Then you will assign each of them a new job according to the needs of your space station. Food, water, and a suitable atmosphere will be needed and once you have managed to secure those, you will be able to grow humans on bio-tanks and start assigning each of them one of the millions of personalities stored in your data banks. You will have to build the facilities and the machinery needed to produce all the resources needed. After that, you will have to create bodies for all the human consciousness trapped in your memory and save the human race.īut rebuilding human civilization from scratch won't be an easy task. After uploading to your memory bank all of their collective memories you are entrusted with the task of building and managing a space station able to support human life. Planet Earth has suffered a terrible catastrophe and it's remaining inhabitants have looked to the stars for their salvation, granting you, a Starmancer artificial intelligence, control over their destiny. In Starmancer you are the only hope of humanity.
